Snow Day

These pictures are from our beautiful snow storm yesterday. Arik came into my bedroom while I was still in bed and said "come look at my tree" out his bedroom window.

It was a wet heavy snow that was good for snowballs. School was cancelled so we slept in and had waffles, eggs and bacon for breakfast (that never happens on a regular school day). Later we went out and played at the park and cleared off the sidewalks and the cars. Arik hasn't liked sledding much this year, but he loves to dig with his kid size snow shovel. The snow melted off the trees pretty quick and the roads cleared up. Just in time for a bigger snow storm predicted for this weekend. Gary had to go to training in Ballston, but he took the metro.
