On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, the kids had the day off of school so Terry and I took them to Mount Vernon. Louise Jones went with us too. It was her first time to see Mount Vernon and she enjoyed driving down the George Washington Parkway and looking at the views too. There was no crowd and the weather was pleasant for walking. Very different from crowded hot summer day we went last time where we didn't even go in the house because the line was so long. This time we got to see the upstairs too.
