Tonight was Kara's first band concert. She started playing the flute this year at Mercer Middle School where she is in 6th grade. It was fun to see how much progress the kids have made since they picked up their instruments for the first time in September. I could see her pretty well, but I was too far back for my camera to get a good shot during the concert.
Kara is the 4th flute in from the right on the second row, but she is only a blond blur. At least she is a blur in the front.
In the hall after the concert where there was a crush of parents meeting their 6th graders. Kind of a goofy expression on her face.
Sabrina Roney left plays the French Horn and Kara plays the flute.
