Sundance and Bridal Veil Falls

Yesterday we went to Sundance for hiking and sight seeing.  We road the ski lift up and then hiked the Mandan Loop around the top.  It was about a mile and we could see and hear the falls in the distance.

Arik is ready to hike.

Fairly flat trail, but Arik didn't like the steep slopes just off the trail.

Kara went off ahead and found a tree to wait for us.

Just a your typical view.

Arik's hair is blowing in the wind.  He was nervous about getting on and off the ski lift and afraid looking down.  I told him look up at the mountains not down at the ground.
Grandma Stoker, Darcie and Kara turn the corner!

Waving on the lift.  We saw a flock of turkeys, parents and 5-6 youth,
but I didn't get a picture of them.

After hiking around Sundance, we went down to Nunn's park for a picnic and then went to dip our toes in the pool at the bottom of Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon.

They had set off a separate pond for these fish.  The kids spent $.25 for
a handful of fish pellets and tossed them into the pool.

Arik climbing the rocks.  He was very proud of how high up he got.
