We woke up to snow this morning. Actually, it started about 6:00am and was supposed to snow all morning so we slept in. The forecast coupled with the ice storm yesterday was enough to cancel school for the second day in a row. Gary got to work by 6:00am and it started snowing as he was driving in. He is hoping the roads will be clear by the time he comes home.
Snow on the Burning Bushes at the park.
Park in the snow.
Kara trying out the sled on the street.
Arik trying to get a running start.
He made it onto the sled and slides down the road.
See that snowball. It is headed right to me (Charlene).
Arik and Kara
Sliding by.
Throwing snowballs at each other.
Arik age 8.
Sledding with friends on the grass.
Arik talked Mom into sledding. Now he is giving me a push.
Headed right to Mom at the bottom of the hill.
Crashing into Mom (Charlene) at the bottom of the hill.
Climbing back up to do it again. It is a small little hill, but it is right next door.
Arik told me the coat makes me look fat. I told him it is his father's coat and it is very warm.
Aiming once again at Mom. So happy to have her picture taken- not.
View of our street from the top of the little hill the kids usually sled.
